🎉 It’s Spirit Day in Garden City! Students across the district are showing off their maroon, grey, and white pride with mini-pep rallies led by GCHS athletes, band members, cheerleaders, and the kickline team. The excitement is building as we gear up for the high school pep rally this afternoon, leading into tomorrow’s Homecoming Parade and Game! 🏈🎶 Let’s come together to celebrate our amazing students and Garden City spirit!

🌴 Tropical Tuesday was a hit as students across all Garden City schools turned up in their best island-inspired outfits! 🏝️ Spirit Week is off to a great start, and we can’t wait to see more creativity and school pride throughout the week. 🎉 This Week in Garden City Schools: It's Spirit Week, and we’re building up to the excitement of Homecoming on Saturday, 9/21! The week is packed with fun themes and events, including pep rallies across all schools on Friday, 9/20, to celebrate our students and athletes. Don’t miss the Homecoming Parade on Saturday at 1 PM, starting on 7th Street and ending at Garden City High School, where the football game kicks off at 3 PM. Today, on Patriot Day, we honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and remember the bravery, resilience and unity shown in the face of tragedy.

🏈👏 History made! In their season opener Friday night at Bethpage, the Garden City Trojans set a Long Island record with their 43rd consecutive win, defeating Bethpage 42-0. The Trojans broke the previous record of 42 straight wins, a streak set by Floyd (2005-08) and tied by the 2016-19 Trojans. Congratulations to all the players, coaches, and support staff who have contributed to this incredible accomplishment over the years! Keep it going!!
