Dear Garden City School Community,

As part of our ongoing Parenting in Today's World workshop series, presented in partnership with Long Island Counseling Center, we invite you to join our next virtual session, Parenting in the Digital World: Raising Healthy Kids in a Technology-Driven Age, on Tuesday, November 17, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.

Technology continues to shape how our children learn, communicate, and connect with others. From social media and gaming to smartphones and artificial intelligence, families face new challenges in helping children navigate an increasingly digital world.

This workshop will explore the impact of technology on children's emotional well-being, attention, and social relationships. Parents will gain practical strategies for establishing healthy boundaries, encouraging responsible technology use, and helping children develop a healthier relationship with technology.  Our goal is to help our children develop healthy habits while building confidence, independence, and resilience.
