Garden City High School marching band earns first place at USBands State Championship

On Nov. 1, the Garden City High School marching band earned first place with an overall score of 83 at the USBands State Championship in Lindenhurst.

This achievement reflects the hard work, dedication and teamwork of the GCHS marching band students throughout the season. Congratulations to Ms. DeMarco, the marching band staff, drum majors Juliet Stampfel, Sofia DiLoreto and Mariella Parlanti, and all GCHS student musicians on this outstanding accomplishment.

The Garden City marching band will be traveling to Allentown, Pennsylvania, to compete in the USBands Regional Championship on Nov. 7.
