Ten Garden City Schools staff members receive tenure

At the April 22 board of education meeting, 10 Garden City Public Schools staff members were recognized for earning tenure. The newly tenured employees gathered at Garden City High School for a celebration where building and district administrators congratulated them on this significant professional milestone.
The evening began with a performance by the Garden City High School chamber orchestra, directed by Mr. Andrew Albani, followed by remarks from Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kusum Sinha, who commended the honorees and thanked them for their dedication to the school community.
Each staff member was then formally recognized by building and district leaders. Congratulations to the following: Lauren Kaufman, director of literacy, K-12; Charles Hager III, science; Melissa Cambardella, math; Bridget Menking, special education; Kaitlin Biagiotti, science; Bridget Lincoln, elementary education; Danielle Canabal, elementary education; Jenifer DiSarbo, speech; Rachel Lindsay, assistant principal of Stewart School; and Keri Hand, principal of Stewart School.
The district congratulates the newly tenured staff members and looks forward to their continued contributions in the years ahead.
