Garden City students showcase artistic talent at regional exhibitions

Garden City Public Schools is proud to announce that Garden City High School student Emma Lu has been selected for the Long Island’s Best: Young Artists at The Heckscher Museum 2026 at the Heckscher Museum of Art. This highly regarded exhibition is one of the most competitive student art shows on Long Island, with works selected through a rigorous juried process from schools across the region. Being chosen to exhibit is a significant honor that highlights Lu’s creativity, dedication and artistic skill, and her selection reflects the high caliber of work produced by Garden City’s student artists.
In addition to this significant achievement, on March 1, 30 Garden City students were selected to present their work at the 2026 All-County Art Exhibition at East Meadow High School. Attended by students from across Nassau County, the ASA All-County Art Exhibit provided an opportunity for families, teachers and students to celebrate the hard work and accomplishments of the passionate young artists from throughout the region.
