The Garden City Middle School German club with Frau Rupes, celebrated Oktoberfest. They watched interactive videos about the festival. The students also listened to traditional German music and loved trying the German Pretzels and German Apeflschorle. Their favorite though was learning and dancing the traditional chicken dance. A fun time was had by all!
On the anniversary of the attack on the World Trade Center, we come together, as one community, to create this Field of Flags to express our gratitude for the heroes on 9/11, and every day after. Thank you to the GCPD, the GCFD, Mr. Marr and Dr. Fasano for this powerful memory.
