Garden City High School inducts 102 new members into the
World Language Honor Society
On March 4, Garden City High School’s chapters of the World Language Honor Society welcomed 102 members into their organization. The World Language Honor Society recognizes high achieving students who excel in the study of foreign languages and culture, maintain a high GPA, display leadership and good character and demonstrate a commitment to community service.
The number of inductees across the various honor societies reflects a strong dedication to language studies. Congratulations to the following:
German Honor Society: 11 new inductees, advised by Mrs. Basile
Italian Honor Society: 35 new inductees, advised by Mr. D'Ambrosio
Latin Honor Society: 11 new inductees, advised by Mrs. Durkin
Spanish Honor Society: 45 new inductees, advised by Mrs. Gutiérrez
This achievement highlights the students' commitment to learning new languages while exemplifying academic excellence and leadership.
