Garden City students recognized for artistic excellence at 2025 All-County Art Exhibition

On March 9, students from across Nassau County came together to participate in the 2025 All-County Art Exhibition held at Herricks High School. Thirty Garden City students were selected to present their work at this annual event. The ASA All-County Art Exhibit provided a great opportunity for families, teachers and students to view the hard work and accomplishments of a diverse group of artistically passionate and motivated students throughout the county. 

Garden City High School senior Kaitlin Cook earned special recognition during a pre-exhibition awards ceremony, where she received the ASA All-County Senior Scholarship Award along with other select high school seniors across Nassau County. 

Congratulations to the following students whose work was featured: from Hemlock, Homestead and Locust primary schools: Francesco Alba, Lucy LeSueur and Angelica Russo; from Stewart and Stratford Avenue elementary schools: Nora Banks, Reed Tempesta, Abby Wang, Adrian Chan, Olivia Ding and Isabella Gold; from GCMS:Lyla Cerrone, Nora Kabir, Jane Levelis, Ava Wolk, Sum Yu Lau and Katie Zhao; and from GCHS: Sophie Alloca, Sonakshi Arora, Kaitlin Cook, Julia Forelli, Olivia Forelli, Daniella Lago, Emma Liu, Mariella Parlanti, Cameron Quinlan, Samantha Racich, Laila Rajpal, Kristen Scarantino, Theodora Themelis, Shannon Walsh and Clover Whitley.

“It was incredible to see so many students, families, and teachers from across Nassau County come together to celebrate such amazing talent,” said Amanda Hauser, district coordinator of music and the arts. “A big thank you to all the GC teachers for their continuous support and dedication in helping our students shine!”
