The District has entered into an agreement with SCOPE Education Services to offer a Before and After School Child Care Program at all five of the District’s elementary and primary schools. Starting in September 2018 and continuing through the current school year, registered students can arrive at their school at 7:00 a.m. for SCOPE's Before Child Care Program and remain in the building they attend during the school day for their After School Child Care. SCOPE’s After School Child Care Program will provide care through 6:30 p.m. Parents with multiple children in the program can qualify to receive a discount. 

What exactly is SCOPE? Under the direction of experienced school superintendents, SCOPE Education Services has been a proven source of quality programs for children, parents, community members, and professional educators for the past four decades. SCOPE will provide our students with a safe, enjoyable, nurturing, and enriching program.  The program will be licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services.  All employees of SCOPE’s before and after care program will maintain the appropriate qualifications, be fingerprinted and fully approved by New York State, and will receive ongoing professional development and training, provided by SCOPE. In addition, SCOPE staff will be trained in Emergency First Aid/CPR/AED and the administration of approved medications.  For more information about SCOPE Education Services, please visit SCOPE Online Website
